EEI – Electrical Studies of the HV Network of the SAFI Chemical Plant
JACOBS ENGINEERING – OCP’S SAFI SITE (Morocco)
Exper’Elec Ingénierie (EEI) has worked for Jacobs on the project concerning the SAFI site of the Office Chérifien des Phosphates (OCP) in Morocco.
The OCP is currently considering the creation of a new 60 kV source substation to supply the various existing source substations and taking into account future site development (Maroc Chimie, Maroc Phosphore I and II) as well as the creation of new 60 kV satellite stations.
The studies conducted include:
- short-circuit current calulations,
- load-flow analysis,
- analysis of the earthing system of HV and MV networks,
- protection coordination,
- transient stability analysis (about 10 generating units turbines and numerous motors).
These studies are conducted for various configurations (grid-connected and islanded mode).
